The company was established as Agency Advisors, Inc. in 2006 to underwrite Agency and CMBS mortgage debt. Over time, the company expanded its capabilities to encompass commercial real estate due diligence loan asset management services, ZIPline zoning reports, bank due diligence/advisory, acquisition due diligence, site inspections, loan closing assistance and insurance review to its growing list of services.

As President & Chief Executive Officer, Zack guides Armada's vision and fosters its growth through training and relationships internally and with clients.
After 10 years of underwriting experience in the CMBS and Agency Lending business and experiencing the struggles of hiring localized Agency underwriters, plus witnessing the boom in contract underwriting services for CMBS lending, Zack established Armada Analytics in 2006. His vision was to bring high quality, customized commercial real estate underwriting to the door of clients in need.
Zack's years of experience in commercial real estate include valuation, asset management, acquisition/disposition analysis, CMBS underwriting, Fannie Mae underwriting, and Freddie Mac underwriting.
Zack began his career at GMACCM Small Loan Program (SLP) where he was an integral part of the underwriting team. At SLP, he underwrote a wide variety of small loans including retail, hotels, office, industrial, and multifamily. In 2000, he was hired by Standard Mortgage Corporation in their agency lending division, where he served through the 2004 buyout by CSFB with the formation of Column Guaranteed (CGL). At the inception of CGL, he was promoted to Deputy Chief Underwriter of Fannie Mae operations. At CGL he oversaw the underwriting for approximately $2 billion/year in production. Zack left CGL in July 2006 to form Armada Analytics to serve the growing need for contract underwriters and asset managers.
Mr. Devier is a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA degree with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance.
As Chief Operating Officer, Russ conducts many of the company's business operations and negotiations and oversees the underwriting and ZIPline zoning compliance departments for Armada.
Russ Ming brings almost two decades of Agency lending experience to the Armada team. He started his career at CRIIMI MAE, serving as a loan closing assistant before moving to Greystone Servicing Corporation to serve as one of two closers for the company's growing Fannie Mae DUS and bridge loan programs. He served as a Senior Closer, Senior Underwriter, and then AVP of Loan Originations for Green Park Financial (now Walker & Dunlop) until 2007. While there, Russ successfully aided in the buildup of a new direct lending platform. Furthermore, Russ assisted in the creation of a seniors housing lending platform which accounted for $500MM in production during its first year.
In 2007, Russ left Green Park Financial for an opportunity to build a West Coast Agency lending origination platform for HSBC's San Francisco office. Here, he worked with new and existing institutional, regional, and local multifamily owners and operators to develop the HSBC Bank brand of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing. In 2008, Russ returned to his underwriting roots, joining Armada Analytics as an underwriting manager.
Russ possesses a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and a M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
Russ is a die-hard Michigan State Spartans football fan and lives in West Bloomfield, MI with his wife and two sons.
Leigh-Anne has been an integral part of the growth and success of AAI since its inception.
Today, her primary roles include oversight of human resources, accounts receivable, account(s) payable and cash management. Leigh-Anne also serves a vital role in corporate planning and decision making as a leading contributor on senior management committees where her focus is human resources, budgeting, business growth and maintaining Armada's corporate culture.
Prior to forming AAI, Leigh-Anne enjoyed a successful career in recruiting and human resources.
In her spare time, Leigh-Anne enjoys spending time with her two teenage boys and riding horses at her farm.
Joining Armada in 2013, Thom serves as the head of its Asset Management department and oversees Armada's Acquisition Due Diligence product offering.
In this role, he supervises staff in Armada's Greenville and Dallas offices, as well as remote locations across the country. His team manages loan and investment portfolios, as well as property inspections, appraisal review, insurance review, loan document review and loan closings.
Thom began his career as a commercial banker and bank examiner for the Texas Department of Banking in Fort Worth, Texas. After serving as President of two Fort Worth banks, he was recruited by the FDIC, where he helped facilitate the closing of 27 financial institutions throughout the Southeastern US. In this role, he also served as Oversight Manager for some of the RTC's largest asset management and disposition contracts (SAMDA). Since that time, he led Prudential's Agency Asset Management department for seven years, and served as Senior Vice President and Director for Greystone Servicing Corporation, Inc. for six years.
Thom is a graduate of Louisiana State University's Graduate School of Banking of the South.
Thom is an avid reader of history and biographies, and although he no longer plays in piano bars, he continues to play for his own enjoyment.
Kevin spearheads new business initiatives, growth strategy development, and sales and marketing effectiveness to drive top-line and bottom-line impact for Armada. As a strategic thinker and relationship builder, Kevin prides himself on a keen attention to detail and dedication.
Kevin's 29-year career includes a wide variety of commercial real estate underwriting, capital markets, asset management, credit criteria and due diligence expertise in senior underwriting and portfolio management positions in New York, NY, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, GA where he was directly involved in loan proceeds in excess of $9 billion in the U.S., U.K., Italy, Switzerland and Canada.
Kevin founded a successful advisory firm focused on all aspects of underwriting and due diligence for conduit lenders and b-piece investors. Kevin has also served as Project Manager and Senior Oversight Asset Manager for FDIC subsidiary investments and advised a distressed debt & ORE platform on disposition strategy as well as workout and restructuring of real estate investments.
Kevin grew up in Brooklyn, New York and graduated with a B.B.A. in International Business from Hofstra University and a master's degree in Real Estate Development & Investment from New York University.
Kevin is an avid explorer of the planet in his quest to collect treasures and memories and is a student of history, astronomy, archeology and architecture. His interests include photography, SCUBA, sailing, landscaping, music and animals.
Mike oversees all Seniors Housing, Freddie Mac Small Balance, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Assumptions, FHA Underwriting, Freddie Mac K-Pool Reviews, and Bank Due Diligence underwriting in addition to conventional FNE and FRE product lines.
Mike began working for Armada as a financial analyst during the company's infancy. In that role, he assisted across all product lines. Since this time, he has absorbed a multitude of industry knowledge and has risen up the ranks at Armada.
Mike's experience spans across all aspects of commercial real estate underwriting, ranging from compilation of BOVs and prescreen work to underwriting credit facilities and running teams for off-site bank acquisition analysis. During his time at Armada, Mike has underwritten or overseen more than 500 transactions, totaling more than $4 billion in loan proceeds.
Mike graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Financial Management with a concentration in Corporate Finance.
Mike and his wife Emily reside in Greenville and are both an active part of the community.
Becky oversees Armada Analytics' Closing Department, which includes Insurance Review Services. Prior to coming on board, Becky was the owner of her own firm, The Browning Consulting Group. In that capacity, Becky consulted with clients in a myriad of areas including loan servicing, underwriting, closings, and insurance review.
Before forming her company, Becky was First Vice President of Live Oak Capital, Ltd. (formerly known as The Dunkum Mortgage Group), which became a part of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital in January 2009. Becky joined The Dunkum Mortgage Group/Live Oak Capital team in 1991 working in various capacities, including supervising the production analytical staff, closing all commercial loans and serving as head of the loan servicing department. After the Grandbridge Real Estate Capital acquisition, she served as an Asset Manager.
Becky oversaw national servicing and closing activities for Holliday, Fenoglio, Fowler from 1997 to 1998 and, prior to joining The Dunkum Mortgage Group in 1991, she was employed as a commercial fee appraiser for two years at Bach Thoreen, a Houston appraisal firm.
From 1986 to 1989, Becky was employed by Stockton, Luedemann, French & West, a Houston mortgage banking firm where she was responsible for asset management, servicing, closing and information systems.
While with the Prudential Realty Group in San Antonio, Orlando and Houston from 1979 to 1985, Becky's responsibilities included review of property management reports, budgets, construction funding and other work typically found in a major life company's real estate field office.
Additionally, from 2005 through 2007, Becky was a consultant to Merrill Lynch Mortgage Lending for whom she analyzed leases for commercial real estate loans including retail, office, industrial properties and ground leases.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. degree in Finance, Becky has been an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA), serving as Vice Chair for the Servicing Leadership Committee. Becky has also been a guest speaker at Texas A&M University.
Brad serves as Director of Business Development and is responsible for new business initiatives across Armada's fleet of services. For over ten years, he has worked in commercial real estate financing, brokering and development, building relationships with other commercial real estate professionals across the country.
Throughout his career in real estate, Brad has been involved in underwriting, origination, capital markets, investment sales, development, equity raises, and working out distressed debt. Prior to joining Armada, Brad spent three years with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer. During this time, he advised on over $100 million in sales and over 200,000 square feet of leasing commercial real estate. Prior to joining Cushman, Brad was a Portfolio Manager with the LongView ULTRA fund and Amalgamated Bank. Working out of both their Washington, D.C., and New York City offices, Brad was on a team responsible for the day-to-day management of an over $1 billion portfolio of real estate debt and equity. In addition, he was responsible for investor relations & reporting, fund valuation, and internal auditing. ULTRA invested in commercial real estate assets across the country, from Boston to Honolulu.
Brad is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BSBA in Finance, and Johns Hopkins University with an MS in Real Estate.
Brad lives in Greenville, SC with his wife and two children. If he has free time, you can find him on the golf course, working on his latest piece of furniture, or working on his 1981 Moto Guzzi. Brad is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of South Carolina.
Stephen oversees all Agency Affordable Housing and is responsible for overseeing Armada Analytics' Dallas office.
Stephen began working for Armada immediately following his college graduation, starting his career as a Financial Analyst on the Affordable Housing Underwriting team. He quickly gained valuable experience focusing on both conventional and affordable transactions between Agency and Private Placement lenders. Due to the rapid growth of the affordable housing industry, Stephen shifted his focus to specialize exclusively on this area of underwriting and assist in the growth of the Affordable Housing team. During his tenure at Armada, Stephen has underwritten in excess of 100 transactions totaling more than $1 billion in loan proceeds.
Stephen's Affordable Housing expertise spans many specific product types, from standard Preservation to New Construction with 4% and 9% LIHTCs, Existing Rehab with 4% and 9% LIHTCs, Project Based HAP Contracts, Credit Enhancement Bonds, Private Placement Bonds, Securitization Pools, Total Return Swaps and the Freddie Mac Tax Exempt Loan ("TEL"), Bridge to TEL, and Bridge to Resyndication programs.
Stephen graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Financial Management - Real Estate Concentration and a Minor in Accounting.
David oversees all affordable, conventional, and seniors housing work performed directly with Freddie Mac and works with a number of other Armada clients overseeing affordable and conventional transactions.
Following his employment at Athens Bank and Trust, David began working for Armada as a Financial Analyst on the Affordable Housing Underwriting team. He gained valuable experience working on a variety of transactions between Agency and Private Placement lenders. Due to the rapid growth of the affordable housing industry, David specialized in this area of underwriting and assisted in the growth of the Affordable Housing team. During his tenure at Armada, David has underwritten in excess of 100 transactions totaling more than $1 billion in loan proceeds.

Zack is responsible for day-to-day operations of the ZIPline zoning compliance report division of Armada.
Joining us directly out of college, Zack began his career with Armada as an Underwriting Analyst in CMBS Lending. During his first year alone, he assisted on the underwriting of over $175 million in CMBS loans. In March 2014, Zack joined Russ Ming in the creation and development of the new ZIPline platform. He was promoted to ZIPline Product Manager in July 2014 and has since written and/or overseen the completion of over 1,200 zoning reports.
Zack's expertise with zoning compliance analysis spans from retail to multifamily to self-storage properties that have been performed for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, banks, attorneys and property owners. He has worked with over 25 clients, covering a wide array of zoning compliance issues and analyses.
Zack graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor's of Science in Financial Management with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance.
